The fact is when we are having a dinner party, enjoying good food, who would think of how or what the ingredients are made of or where they com from.
At least in many developed countries, they have legislation to ban harvesting and importing of Shark Fins.  We can still get them in cans here.  So, I think that is a bit hypocritical.

其實魚翅在古時後,因為難以穫得,再加上必需耗費很多的人力及物力才能端上桌,因此被視為大菜珍饈,
今日因魚翅的容易穫得,導致鯊魚的物種滅絕的危機,真是鯊魚無罪,懷翅其罪,人類的一張嘴巴,成為為惡的藉口
