Driving is no problem in  Australia, quite easy with a GPS.  Though there were tourists recently used Apple Map and led to middle of nowhere.

Expanding yeja's post above, motorist were actually stranded in a small desert for up to 4 days. Be warned.

However in my personal opinion, Australia is quite boring and if I have a choice I'd go somewhere else.

i like to travel in a tour more than go by myself.... tour can arrange the attraction for u ..... yes u are right . between the attraction , there are long distance .......if u dun want to go by yourself....... u can go by tour
