5 F, n8 Z- L) F( ^os.tvboxnow.comIt hasn’t been a peaceful new year holiday for the government, and particularly Chief Executive Leung Chung-ying, with groups out on the streets both protesting against, and demonstrating for the establishment. The first, pre-emptive, protest came from the pro Leung Chun-ying camp and was organised by a group called Caring Hong Kong Power specifically to counter critical protests planned on New Year’s Day. In all, New Year’s Day saw rallies organised by seven groups. , F3 `. The government may be facing considerable opposition, but the democrats are divided.
