[問題] 如何選擇變壓器的 watt 才對 ， 描述： 100-240v

早年從香港移居紐約,帶了部第一代 xbox 過來,當年朋友幫我買了個變壓器一切正當,不過放在一邊很久,到搬屋時跌爛左個變壓器...。
請問大家如何選擇變壓器的 watt 才對？
我在網上看中這個,不知可否配合部第一代 xbox 安全用上? Pyle-meters PVTC300U

You should be O.K. base on some power consumption information from the internet...
Max power consumption ( gaming ) is about 110 Watts and this device is rated 300 watts.
Depends on the manufacture, assume that efficiency of the inverter is 80%.
300 watts x .8 = 240 Watts and inflated specification from the manufacture 240 Watts x .8
= 192 watts.   You still have a safety margin of 80%

Generally transformers are rated by input/output volts and amps, not watts.   Under and over specifications are neither good.

just look at the back of your appliances.. it will tell you how much WATT does it need~~

not need to guess or calculate ~
