Gunners wait on prospect Sergio Busquets as he stalls on new contract at Barcelona

Arsenal are set to make a move for Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets if he fails to agree a new contract at the Nou Camp.
Busquets, 20, is regarded as one of the best young midfielders inEurope and has broken into the Barcelona first team this season.

The Spaniard has progressed through the ranks at Nou Camp but is out ofcontract at the end of the season and is attracting interest from ahost of clubs in England and Italy.
After seeing Mathieu Flamini and Alexander Hleb leave the club duringthe summer, Wenger is keen to strengthen his midfield and would jump atthe chance to sign another talented youngster.
Barcelona have offered a new deal to Busquets but he has yet to pledgehis long-term future to the club which could spark a fierce battle forhis signature in the New Year
