最低工資水平建議報告已呈特首考慮
        臨時最低工資委員會，已經向行政長官曾蔭權，提交首個最低工資水平建議報告，如果行政長官會同行政會議通過，預期下月中，以附屬法例形式遞交立法會審議。政府發言人表示，若一切順利，及預留數月讓各界人士作準備，政府期望法定最低工資在明年上半年全面實施。政府會密切注視並按進展情況，訂出實施法定最低工資的確實日期。

自由黨早前向中小企發問卷調查，指最低工資最多只可訂於時薪廿八元，而勞工界就堅持訂在三十三元。
