上海我就没去过，但和其他城市无太太差别，就是现代化的建筑物多些，前卫些而已，香港就稍微去的多，我觉得上海不可能超过香港的，至少在我有生之年里，我是80后的，香港人素质高，法治健全，思想或言论都自由些，更先进些，所接受到的知识的层次相差好远的，当然还有其他的，就不说了。

I agreed that there is no point comparing city to city, just like comparing an apple to orange, they are two different things. However, while HK was still under British government, most public works were efficient. From the very first 徙置區, 公屋, 地鐵, 新機場等, all on target. But look at now, all politicians just oppose to every government projects and moves, with or without reasons. This may be how democracy should work. Just like the fable "父子和驢", how could someone listen and act to different voices. 民主不是要令每個人都開心, 因為每個人的要求是不一樣的.

香港在硬件上確實越來越沒有優勢, 但軟件上, 人的素質上, 整體比上海和全中國各地都好的多, 例如:排隊和禮貌方面.
