is ok, but need to walk a bit to the town area, and if want to go Gurney that side, i think need to take taxi. but overall, should be no problem.

Ya, then should be it. you can walk to town area, You can go Little india, Chinatown, Fort cornwallis, Love Lane, ....all this is near to town area. should try the foods there. 公仔箱論壇$ ?. k7 K" R  w! n8 @
for shopping mall in town area got Komtar walk, Perangi Mall, 1st avenue(High-end mall), time square.
+ A' x) N3 K$ e" U& vby taxi/bus, you can go Gurney drive, and upper penang road, over here have more night-life, lot of night club and restaurant.* z  `2 X3 y/ E3 }3 t$ D, p; g: P
Gurney mall there is well known shopping mall in penang, another one us queensbay mall in bayan lepas, near to airport.* `5 j2 K% u% G9 p( ]
