here's the problem.  大啦叭 was too late to sell his idea to those companies. sony released blu ray in 2003 and we have no idea how many years it had been R&D earlier.  If 大啦叭 sells his idea in the early 90's, those big name companies might be willing to spend more money on further R&D.

you still don't get it...  cd is already outdated when mp3 became popular in early 2000's.  that's why no company willing to spend money on further R&D on your technology...  you need to follow what the world is using.  which company would invest into something that can't make money?  how many cds being sold in the recent years?
