Lee's office said he would accept the recommendations of a government-appointed committee to reduce his salary, as well as those of his ministers and the city-state's president., d1 ~ }; | A3 C( X) s
Lee appointed the committee after a disastrous parliamentary election in which his party faced historic losses. The committee recommended that Lee's salary be cut by 36%, to 2.2m Singapore dollars (£1.1m).
