Thompson is asking too much.  He is good, but not that good.  Even Kevin Love is only making about the same this coming season and Kyrie Irving (same seniority as Thompson, i,e, 4 years with NBA) will only be making $16.4 millions.  For $19 millions, Cavs can find an elite front court player plus change.
