CSI: New York, the third incarnation of the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation franchise, is a crime drama about forensic investigators who use high-tech science to follow the evidence and solve crimes in The Big Apple. Detective Mack "Mac" Taylor is a dedicated and driven crime scene investigator who believes that everything is connected and for everyone there is a story. He and his partner, Detective Stella Bonasera, a workaholic and a jack-of-all-trades, share a passion for the job. They lead a team of experts amid the gritty and kinetic city that never sleeps. Their team includes Danny Messer, a Brooklyn-born investigator with rugged good looks, an unflappable spirit and a colorful family history, and Dr. Sheldon Hawkes, a reclusive coroner who walked away from a promising surgical career after the traumatic loss of two patients. Joining them is homicide Detective Don Flack, an edgy, hardcore investigator with a quick wit, impressive forensic insight and limited patience with potential suspects. Rounding out the team is Aiden Burn, a smart and sexy investigator whose chameleon-like behavior allows her to adapt to any situation at any time. These skilled investigators, who see New York City in a whole different light, follow the evidence as they piece together clues and eliminate doubt to ultimately crack their cases.

Gary Alan Sinise 飾 Detective Mack "Mac" Taylor
1955年出生於伊利諾斯州，1974年Gary跟Terry Kinney和Jeff Perry共同創立了Steppenwolf影視公司，公司規模不斷壯大。除了表演外，Gary還執導了Steppenwolf最有名的幾部片子，包括Sam Shepard主演的《True West》。Gary在好來塢的事業開始於他執導的《Crime Story》，以及Richard Gere主演的《Miles From Home》。Gary的成名作為《A Midnight Clear》，後來又出演過大制作《The Stand》，《Forrest Gump》。由於他演技精湛，Gary曾獲得過奧斯卡提名。1994-1995年間，他第一次與Tom Hanks合作演出《Apollo 13》，獲得了很高的人氣，後來還出演過HBO電影《Truman》，正因為他在戲裡面表現出色，他奪得了金球獎，演員工會獎，還有艾美獎提名。在《CSI：NY》裡，Gary除了飾演主要演員外，還是該片的製片人之一。

Melina Kanakaredes 飾 Detective Stella Bonasera
1967年出生於俄亥俄州北部的阿克倫城，是3姐妹中最小的一個。她的父親退休前是個保險推銷員，母親是家庭主婦。Melina1985年畢業於俄亥俄州Firestone中學，隨後前往俄亥俄州立大學學習音樂、舞蹈和戲劇，青年時期曾參加過一些舞蹈和戲劇表演。她被星探相中後，於1991-1995年出演《The Guiding Light》，因成功的塑造了埃及後裔Eleni Andros Cooper獲得兩座艾美獎盃。在《NYPD Blue》中她扮演了Jimmy Smits的女友。1995年她主演了《New York News》和《Leaving L.A》。她還曾客串過《The Practice》和《OZ》以及電視電影《Saint Maybe》。她出演過的電影有《Rounders》、《Dangerous Beauty》以及《The Long Kiss Goodnight》

Eddie Cahill 飾 Detective Donald "Don" Flack
1978年出生於紐約，1996年畢業於Byram Hills中學。Eddie初登舞台是2000年在Nicky Silver的非百老匯戲劇《Altruists》裡，之後在電視劇《Sex and the City》中客串演出，和Sarah Jessica Parker同台競技。同年10月在《Friends》裡，Eddie飾演Rachel的助手而一夜成名。之後在電視劇《Charmed》，《Felicity》和《Law & Order：Special Victims Unit》裡他都有過客串表演。2001年，Eddie簽約WB電視網，開始出演他自己為主角的電視劇《Glory Days》，但此劇遭到很多批評的聲音，播出不長時間即被叫停，Eddie沒有放棄，繼續其客串生涯，並在《Haunted》和《Dawson's Creek》裡找到了角色。2004年，Eddie在迪斯尼的電影《Miracle》中飾演自己兒時的偶像Jim Craig，2005年又出演了電影《Lords of Dogtown》。

Carmine Giovinazzo 飾 Danny Messer
1973年出生於紐約，他想成為一名職業棒球手，卻因為背部受傷，只能放棄棒球運動開始了演藝生涯，也許這就是天意吧，業餘時間他喜歡繪畫，作詩跟彈吉他，還喜歡打旱冰球，籃球跟棒球。他在2002年客串了《CSI》首季"Revenge is Best Served Cold"那一集，還在《CSI：MIAMI》"MIA/NYC Nonstop"一集中出境，因此成為了為數不多能出現在《CSI》三個系列裡的演員。

Hill Harper 飾 Dr. Sheldon Hawkes

Anna Belknap 飾 Lindsay Monroe
1972年出生於緬因州，紐約Rude Mechanicals劇院演員，2002年因為在Globe劇院演出的話劇《Pericles》中飾演Marina，得到San Diego劇院劇評家Craig Noel授予的傑出表演獎。她在Vermont的Middlebury學院獲得藝術學位，是美國Conservatory劇院的主要演員。在踏入電視界前，她在數家劇院演出過，其中包括SecondStage劇院，Huntington劇院，Mark Taper劇場，Globe劇院，Westport郡劇場，Olney劇院，Breadloaf 劇院，Woolly Mammoth劇院，Williamstown假日劇院。Anna出演的電視劇比較著名的有《Deadline》，《Medical Investigation》，客串過《Law & Order》，《Without a Trace》等。
