Giovinco's agent dismisses Arsenal speculation
TURIN, September 9 (Serie A) - Sebastian Giovinco's agent has deniedspeculation the Juventus midfielder has held talks with Premier Leagueclub Arsenal.
Reports in the English media claim the 21-year-old has been in touch with the Gunners over a possible move to London.
ButGiovinco's representative, Andrea D'Amico, insists there is no truth inthe stories, suggesting the player is keen to stay with Juve.
"Theyhaven't spoken to me and as far as I'm aware they haven't spoken toJuventus," D'Amico told Milan-based website Novantesimo.
"With respect to the player's contract renewal, we will soon meet Juventus to negotiate."
Giovinco returned to Juve this summer after a successful season-long loan at Empoli. |
