I know but we need to keep Alonso too..
We really need his creativity to create chances n to dominate the midfield position..
and dun forget he can score goal by long shot too..(Really miss the Luis Garcia's goal against Juventus)
Gerrard can play well in left midfielder/winger too..
Crouch is on form and if he plays we should have the advantage of high ball...

i prefer to see Hyypia in the central back with Skrtel where Carragher move to right back. Hyypia is the huge threat for set pieces! 4-4-2 should be more competitive, rather than 4-4-1-1 or 4-5-1, just won't help with Torres up alone.
