malaysia chinese only speak malay to Malay person or Indian. even we speak malay to chinese friends, usually is 1-2 sentences only. exp: i want to go 'jamban' = 我要去厕所，where is your 'kampung'?= 你是哪里'乡下'? 等 ^^

馬來西亞是少數除了中、台、港、奧以外有到大學程度的華文教育
  d, U/ c& ^, Z% H" m7 m所以當地的人都普用民族方言或中文溝通
$ O& z, j4 c" {- v( ]沒受過華文教育的華人都會用英語溝通，極少是用馬來語

在港澳的人會叫“馬來西亞”為“馬來”，所以名正言順變成“馬來人”了
