We don't "Need" to do shopping in Oregon to save tax; we have to pay sale tax whichever state we go ...

The operating cost is too high for the American to open restaurants here.  Ontario is another story...

I didn't know you have to pay sale tax while shopping in Oregon.  I never have to pay sale tax while shopping in Oregon.  Washington charges 8.x% and no sale tax refund for British Columbian.  

Where in Idaho are you living now?  I'm sure there is a Best Buy or Circuit City in your area for your electronic needs.  Wal-mart also sell entry level electronic stuff but those products are really entry level...
