On June 26, 2012 Kalinin NPP was visited by the representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Green Technologies and Water of the Republic of Malaysia headed by the Manager of the Office, Mr. Peter Chin Fah Kui.

H% b* SAs part of the visit, there was held a meeting of the foreign guests with the management of Kalinin NPP, during which the participants discussed a number of issues related to the construction of the nuclear power plant, experience of personnel training, forms of community outreach, etc. Attention was also paid to the additional measures taken at Kalinin NPP after the analysis of the events at Fukushima NPP in Japan.

We know that Russia has vast experience of applying the nuclear technology, which can be useful for us. Kalinin NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The Plant is situated on the north of the Tver Region in Udomelsk district. Kalinin NPP includes four power units with pressurized water reactors (VVER-1000) each one having the installed capacity of 1,000 MW. Implementation of the stage “Pilot Operation” continues its realization on the 4th power unit, which start-up took place in November 2011.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb a5 j" C9 c( k- z" P. \
