[Windows] How to backup driver before format?

I am currently using window vista home premium. I would like to format my laptop to window 7 ultimate. But I need to know how to recover/backup my driver before i format it. It will be a very troublesome thing to do to online download the driver later.

Drivers is part of system files, different os pair with it's working drivers, although there are softwares to backup drivers, but it is better to download latest drivers from respective hardware manufacturer according to your os. Just install drivers from backup may cause system errors or hardwares will not workable.

Windows 7 might hv most of the drivers dy actually.... u just need to download those without driver one from Internet.

as i know window have a software tool to allow user upgrade from vista to win 7 without formatting the PC. It only require format PC from Win xp to win 7.
