Actually KL people sum up everything as laksa. Chow's bowl is called curry laksa, yours is Asam Laksa.
ChowOld: Both are spicy not for HongKong taste bud. Even worst for people who doesnt like it, asam laksa smells very 'fishy' not exagerating here. Love to add shrimp paste to it. Soup based is shrimps and tamarind base...oh...so good...missed it now.
