Giovani spies Spurs success
Giovani Dos Santos claims Tottenham have the talent to challenge for top honours in The Premier League.
Spurs have signalled their intention to compete with the top four under Juande Ramos by following the signing of Luka Modric with the capture of Mexico star Giovani from Barcelona.
Giovani has turned his back on Champions League football with Barca, but feels Spurs have the quality to be competing for top honours in Europe.
“I love Tottenham’s plans, they are very ambitious. I was interested in joining them because they are a team that can compete with the top clubs,” the 19-year-old is quoted as saying in The Sun.
“I know Juande Ramos and, of all the offers I had, this was the most challenging from a sporting point of view.” |
