Arsenal v Sevilla preview

Manuel Almunia will continue to deputise for Jens Lehman, who is still out with an elbow injury. Almunia will be determined to put in another solid display in a bid to keep out the German upon his eventual return.

Switzerland international Philippe Senderos is available after missing out at the weekend through suspension, and Arsene Wenger must decide as to whether the centre-back should partner Kolo Toure.

With William Gallas out injured (groin), a jet lagged Gilberto Silva slotted in at the back on Saturday, and Wenger may choose to rest the Brazilian midfielder for the Sevilla encounter.

Gallas is still unavailable, while Emmanuel Eboue is yet to recover from an ankle injury. Aside from the Senderos option, expect the same defence that faced Spurs.

The Gunners have no further injury concerns and Wenger has the luxury of choosing from a number of combinations to surround his jewel in the crown, Cesc Fabregas.

Up front the French tactician is likely to continue with Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor, although a rested Eduardo da Silva is pushing for a starting place.
