Mascherano boost for Reds
Liverpool have been handed a boost with the news that Javier Mascherano has made the trip to Italy for their clash with Internazionale.
Mascherano had been rated doubtful for Tuesday's tie at the Giuseppe Meazza after suffering a groin strain in last week's win over West Ham.
The Argentine ace missed Saturday's win over Newcastle, but he has been included in the squad to face Inter by Rafa Benitez.
The Reds are without defender Steve Finnan who has missed the last three outings with a hamstring problem.
Jamie Carragher is in line to make his 100th European appearance for Liverpool as the 2005 Champions League winners look to join Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United in the quarter-finals.
