DAP Sabah today has lodged police report in four police stations in Tawau, Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu and Penampang calling for the Police to investigate the authenticity of the news as reported in the Sarawak Report website for two consecutive days alleging that the Foreign Minister Anifah Aman and Chief Minister Musa Aman named in the investigation by MACC into Sabah timber corruption.0 N* g0 c& t* d2 h0 ~/ V+ K* E

The allegations by the “whistleblower website” are very serious. According to the Sarawak report, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigating on the S$16 million cash smuggling case in Hong Kong had concluded that the Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman had corruptly issued timber licences to his brother Foreign Minister Anifah Aman worth RM400 millions. However, the Federal Attorney-General Abdul Gani Patail has refused to pursue the case.
