Don't know about a factory installed system in your Evo, but after-market I/C watersprays sometimes just use the same water as the windscreen washer tank, ie tap water. Since the water is only sprayed on the outside of the I/C it doesn't really matter. But best call your Mitsubishi dealer (who'll probably recommend Mitsubishi-branded water :)
