What's wrong with the word "Chinese"? The word "Chinese" has multiple implications, just like any other words like "English" , "German" and "French"~~~ When you are in a place where majority of the public speaks Cantonese (which is a local dialect of Chinese), asking a person to "Speak Chinese" means you want that person to speak in that local dialect, i.e. Cantonese in this case! 8 W% W3 x' Z& G4 H* X/ fos.tvboxnow.com: J# B" V6 R; p% w& g8 V
I think your interpretation of "Chinese" being just a human race is far too superficial ~~~ / `9 N/ g8 u/ I5 O' h" C
