It is an interesting program but we should not be overly concerned with the doomsday prediction. Nostradamus is a popular prophet of disasters but his wording is rather vague, so the accuracy of his prophecy would depend very much on the interpretation of the readers. We human have a natural inclination to associate disasters and tragedies with the signs of impending doomsday. The choice of guests in the show is quite well-balanced, people with various background would widen our perspectives on this matter. Even the apostles of Christ anticipated the imminent end of the the world after his death. This kind of incidents permeated history to our present day as various cults may organize mass suicide or gathering for its coming. We cannot even change the course of a big meteorite if it were on a collision course with Earth. The end of human race would definitely come and the factors leading to the end of the earth are manifold, out of our control. We know neither the time nor the way doomsday would come. We should live a life that is friendly to our Earth. I think this is the best strategy and attitude.
