希臘深陷債務泥潭 自殺率、艾滋病感染率均大增

研究人員10日表示，希臘債務危機重創民眾健康，自殺人數增加、更多人尋求藥物支持或從事賣淫工作，艾滋病毒(HIV)感染比例也急劇上昇。　　據悉，大幅削減預算和失業率居高不下，將更多人推向嚴重的懮郁情緒和藥物依賴，醫院和醫療看護服務預算削減也意味著，能接受治療或醫療協助的人會減少。
1 D3 W3 ]: a4 y　　英國劍橋大學社會學家史徒克勒表示：『希臘的健康圖示令人懮心忡忡。』史徒克勒的這份研究結果刊於《柳葉刀》(Lancet)醫學期刊。

　　史徒克勒的團隊發現，2009年，希臘的自殺率較2007年上昇17%，希臘議會引述的非官方數據所顯示的自殺率上昇幅度更大，介於25%至40%之間。
# m8 D; m. ?* [7 k　　據報道，在希臘，一名前企業家跳樓身亡，他留下遺書表示，是拖累這個國家的金融危機逼迫他結束自己的生命；另一名小型零售商老板也被發現於橋梁邊上吊自盡，旁邊留下的紙條寫著：『沒有其它原因，經濟危機將我逼向絕路。』兩則自殺案件的報道使希臘民眾震驚。
