video card's problem

bought a gaming pc a couple months ago

motherboard asus p8x68-vlx
processor intel i5-2500k 3.3ghz
ram  8gb
64-bit
amd radeon hd 6800

this pc can only play video in Realplayer

for videos in formats like mkv , the screen will be very high contract, white and bright (these videos worked ok with my other pcs)

i did go to the video card setting to try to change the setting, but not improve much!

can anyone help?

i'd tried gom play, kmplayer, vlc player and splayer

all the same

i think is the setting's problem

but, there are so many ways that can change the setting
i did some changes, but didn't see much improve

Try uninstall all codec packs, player, maybe codecs conflict happen cause this, be sure install latest version of display driver: http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-64.aspx

km player -> right click -> 視訊(進階) -> H/W 色彩控制 -> uncheck "開啟".
Does it make any differences?
