It is a heavy subject indeed, Norman. Chomsky basically outlines the development of the "peace negotiation", its inherent absurdities and the intractable difficulties in possible resolution. I got nothing to add except a bid on the historical perspective from Avi Shlaim, a professor from Oxford, who being an Israelite had served in the army.
