Start with 12 balls, weight 6 - 6 on scale, the take the 6 from the heavier side and weight 3 - 3, then take the 2 out of 3 from the heavier side weight again, if these 2 balances then the heaviest ball is the remaining 1. (please oh please don't ask what happens if these 2 our of 3 does not balance). |
