Tom Coronel took victory in the WTCC’s 200th race, after beating fellow BMW man, Mehdi Bennani, to the chequered flag in race two at Suzuka.

The Coronel/Bennani battle was a race-long affair, as both drivers once again took advantage of the BMW’s strong start to lead from the front row.8 J3 a& r5 h9 e7 t

On lap 17, Coronel got the advantage after diving down the inside of the Moroccan driver going into the second right-hand corner, and allowed him to secure the victory at the end of the 26-laps.
