“13歲的小女孩不可能懂得甚麼｀你情我願’，她也不懂得保護自己及分析性行為所帶來的嚴重後果。因此，該組認為社會有義務保護女孩，法律工作者也必須認真看待這種刻意的婚姻，避免讓強姦犯有機可乘，利用這種安排蹂躪女孩的尊嚴。＂) v: k0 s+ A1 e( D' ^% J
她說，這種婚姻不可能會帶給小女孩任何保障，反之，它對小女孩的身心發展造成莫大的傷害，生活在第一任太太及其他四位孩子的家庭裡，這位小女生的前途堪虞。# U. ?/ p) N% J" t. B" }1 l8 Q
她說，該婦女組於去年曾針對兩起法定強姦案，因被告的個人因素而被法庭輕判提出抗議，並號召約50個團體聯署備忘錄後，呈交給時任首相署部長拿督斯里納茲裡，並獲該部長承諾會採納該組的建議，嚴厲看待所有法定強姦案件。
