萊佛士大酒店是1887年由來自于亞美尼亞的富豪薛克茲兄弟修建。從那時起，這座代表新加坡殖民地風格的酒店便吸引了大量遊客。毛姆、吉卜林、卓別林等人都曾在此下榻。 os.tvboxnow.com. @- j# i+ m! d3 p

現在，這裏不僅僅是一座酒店，同時也是新加坡的旅遊名勝，每天吸引了絡繹不絕的旅遊者。只是這裏很多地方除了住院店客人以外遊客 不能進入，允許一般遊客進入的只是本館的大堂、餐廳及周圍的萊佛士苑(購物中心)。
