Being a city with a harbour is part of the reason Shanghai is so beautiful.  The water view always add magic and charm to the otherwise so called "concrete jungle."" i: L1 v5 E( W4 h( P

Modern architecture contrasts with old fashioned buildings.  The lights rivals the "Pearl of the Orient!"  This is a city worth visiting.  Good photos.
