They'd won three world championships and two Olympic bronze medals previously. After winning the 2007 world championships, they stopped competing and took to the show circuit. Could they come back at ages 36 (him) and 31 (her)?

Because of Pang and Tong's sizzling performance, Shen and Zhao had to give up first place in the free skate to them, because one of their lifts collapsed. But Shen and Zhao won overall with 216.57 points, a world record. Pang and Tong earned 213.31.
