The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. b9 x5 c: f: K4 g# W3 G; }# P$ _公仔箱論壇 0 _, x0 G, F! S. YI can't help but to add some caption to these beautiful photos: 3 e" `# K3 o* j) N6 X2 a, ?The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders. # y& e8 ? A0 W; b4 M/ [ ttvb now,tvbnow,bttvbThen there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side. 3 |* q6 p E" r; }1 _" Z- G! h0 tFollowed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season. 0 o( R2 o; b+ p5 l8 aThen there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time. $ V! c, `- [2 Xos.tvboxnow.comThen we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. 8 r0 g* U: B" x. C: L* b/ L7 ~$ C, @Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall. ' f7 y! ~0 g* ]2 BThe last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop.
