The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. 公仔箱論壇3 v. X/ b6 R2 A4 G

The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders. ) G) P4 ]$ y' Q. ~2 R) A4 \3 Y: BThen there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side. 6 U4 Z0 {3 M9 H; T" e; q, Ttvb now,tvbnow,bttvbFollowed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season. - h3 @7 T0 }9 RThen there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time. / l7 I" Z: z- w8 |6 }% q& e, v- C9 DThen we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. ! T e; s6 K2 q+ F( Ptvb now,tvbnow,bttvbHere we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall. , c" i. g) C' p# I, N0 }The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop.
