第一季
上古時代，西炎王姬把女兒玖瑤（楊紫飾）寄養在玉山王母身邊，但她在西炎和辰榮的大戰中戰死。玖瑤等不到親人來接，對父親心生誤會，逃離了玉山，經歷了種種磨難，最終隱姓埋名女扮男裝做了名小醫師。她聰慧善良、率真可愛，偶然救起了被兄長殘害的塗山璟（鄧為飾），璟自感卑微，默默愛著玖瑤。九頭妖相柳（檀健次飾）偶然發現玖瑤可以幫助自己療傷，屢次將她掠走，並且漸漸對玖瑤心生情愫。玖瑤的表哥瑲玹（張晚意飾）終於找到了她，帶她回到她父親皓翎王身邊，解開了當年的誤會。玖瑤以身犯險幫助瑲玹奪回西炎的王位。
