簡介：
某大學文學史專業的學生張慶（張若昀飾）熟讀古典名著，但他用現代觀念剖析古代文學史的論文命題不被葉教授（袁泉飾）所認可。為了讓葉教授成為自己的研究生導師，張慶決定通過寫小說的方式，進一步闡述自己想要表達的觀點。
在他的小說中，身世神秘的少年——范閒，自小跟隨奶奶生活在海邊小城澹州，隨著一位老師的突然造訪，他看似平靜的生活開始直面重重的危機與考驗。在神秘老師費老和一位蒙眼守護者五竹的指點下，范閒熟識藥性藥理，修煉霸道真氣並精進武藝，而後接連化解了諸多危局。因對身世之謎的好奇，范閒離開澹州，前赴慶國京都。在京都，范閒飽嘗人間冷暖並堅守對正義、良善的堅持，書寫了光彩的人生傳奇。
