8月31日獲悉，慶大畢業的美男演員水嵨宏（24）將與實力派女演員鈴木杏（21）聯袂主演富士電視台系週六檔日劇《ROOM OF KING》（10月4日開播，週六晚11：00）。這部異想輕喜劇講述了一個住在同一屋簷下的人競相爭奪公寓所有權的故事。當下備受關注的編劇，大宮繪莉（32）負責該劇劇本，同時還將在劇中亮相。他此次會將可愛的兩位主演打造成「搞笑的KING」。1 V! y; G! o! M* Z6 L
由於出演同台的熱播劇《偷偷愛上你》和《絕對彼氏》，水嵨宏的知名度節節攀升，在年輕女性中人氣大增。此次終於大翻身，首度在日劇中擔任主演。而另一位主演鈴木杏，十幾歲起便經常出現在海外大片中，演技得到高度肯定。這對特色搭檔將挑戰該異想輕喜劇。; O5 t( H+ {' y; |
故事在東京青山的一所高級公寓中展開。水嵨所飾演的自由職業者、杏所飾演的OL與性病科女醫生（井川遙）、著名設計師（渡部篤郎）一起合租房子。在這期間，他們參加了一個遊戲。他們要經歷重重考驗，最後成功的人，將會得到公寓的所有權。
