劇情講述一個檢察官被冤枉殺害妻子與女兒而成為死囚，逃脫罪名的故事。故事的主人公是一名未認證過被告人有罪的韓國最有名的檢察官。一連串的突發事件使他淪為被關在監獄的階下囚。而更糟糕的是他在一連串事件發生之後的記憶全部喪失，令為自己洗脫嫌疑增添了不少的難度。進入人生最糟糕的兩難選擇，開始陷入檢察官的迫切殊死的鬥爭中。
