劇情介紹
本劇講述東漢王朝開國皇帝劉秀和皇后陰麗華在雲台二十八將幫助下創建偉業的故事。新朝年間，劉秀於長安太學求學之時，結識了鄧禹、劉玄、馮異等少年才俊及童年的陰麗華。數年後，新莽暴政，天下大亂。劉秀隨兄長劉縯揭竿而起，陰麗華亦喬裝化名陰戟，追隨左右。從舂陵起義到昆陽大戰，劉秀與一眾肝膽相照的同袍並肩作戰，浴血沙場。孰料劉玄稱帝後，忌憚劉家兄弟功高，誅殺劉縯。劉秀娶陰麗華為妻，韜光養晦，使劉玄放鬆警惕，放其持節北上，重振旗鼓。河北之路危機重重，幸有鄧禹、馮異、吳漢、耿弇等舊故新知先後來投，患難與共。河北真定王劉楊提出聯姻結盟，為顧全大局，劉秀忍痛與妻子分離。之後，劉秀聯手鄧禹、馮異，經數十載不懈努力，結束戰亂，平定河北等地，定都雒陽，建立東漢，終完成共同夙願。
