隨着香港港足球代表隊首奪東亞運金牌，相信已經改變不少父母對孩子投身足球運動的想法，就連特首曾蔭權先生也感慨當天是自己零九年最開心的一天。為港足追成1：1的中鋒陳肇麒及撲出兩球12碼的門將葉鴻輝，起初也曾經受過不少冷言冷語，卻始終堅持夢想無悔當上足球員，如今讓全港市民送上熱烈掌聲變身英雄，彷彿我們已重新對本地足球有更多期望。當足球運動不再被認為是波牛行為，當它盛載了人們的熱情時，它述說著許多人的故事。

為了推動本地足運發展，為了發掘具潛質的年青球員，為年青球員提供更廣濶的發展空間，香港電台與香港足球總會及英國伯明翰城足球隊合力製作節目《一腳成名•踏上英超路》。節目紀錄整個選拔及訓練過程，直擊一班熱愛足球的人實現英超足球夢。在激烈的比拼和篩選過程中，他們的經歷，是血汗的人性考驗；是青春的熱忱奔放；也是艱困的克服精神…並帶出在現實中為理想拼搏的真象、參賽者所面對的種種困難(來自學業、事業、伴侶、家人等)，都透過鏡頭一一盡錄，拼湊出「不是波牛」的人生圖像。

節目於二Ｏ一Ｏ年八月四日起，逢星期三晚1900-1930，亞洲電視本港台播映

節目於二Ｏ一Ｏ年9月15日，星期三晚1900-1930，亞洲電視本港台播映

當三名優勝者在香港足球聖地 - 香港大球場，面對幾萬名觀眾的目光下，接受前往英國的登機証時，夢想成真，心情興奮，對踏上英超之路充滿期望。他們遠赴英超伯明翰城足球會，接受為期三星期的足球訓練，進一步迎接未知的挑戰；除此之外，還會親身體驗當地的足球文化，對於三位追逐英超足球夢的年輕人，能夠逐步實現夢想，心情既興奮又緊張，究竟他們能否克服離鄉別井，人生路不熟的困難，適應當地的生活與足球水平？最終究竟經歷三星期訓練後，三位年輕人當中能否有人羸得球會教練的認同，獲得一份合約？能否成為踏足英超的香港人？人生就是如此，充滿無限的可能，視乎你能否勇敢面對。

It's wonderful is the weekend again, when offices are closed and all can take a break from work and go out have some great time. However, weekend is always a work day in the entertainment and food and some business industries. No such vocabulary as business closed for the day eh just like TVB now.
