A monument is a type of structure either explicitly created to commemorate a person or important event, which has become important to a social group as part of their rememberance of past events, and to pay respect and honour. Tombs are one type of monument as well. Some cultures built hugh and grand tombs for their ancestors, usually of powerful, weathly. Important persons.

Temple of Heaven and Thirteen Tombs are the must see scene spots when visitors are in Beijing.They are magnificent and marvelous ancient constructions in the world.
