Daniel Agger has intimated that he would be interested in holding talks with Liverpool over a new deal.
Denmark defender Agger, who joined the Reds from Brondby in 2006, has two years remaining on his current contract.
The 23-year-old has not featured for Rafa Benitez's side since the first leg of the UEFA Champions League qualifier against Standard Liege, and reports have suggested he is growing frustrated at his lack of first-team opportunities.
Agger has, however, refused to comment on the speculation and instead invited the club to begin talks over a new deal.
"I can confirm that I have not received any offer for a contract extension from Liverpool," he told Ekstra Bladet.
