Lukas Podolski has warned new head coach Jurgen Klinsmann he will think about moving on from Bayern Munich if his status does not change.
Podolski was the hero for Germany against Poland, the country of his birth, as he scored twice last week during the Euro 2008 encounter.
The 23-year-old is a key figure for Germany, but he has failed to nail down a regular start at Bayern.
It is easy to understand that competing for a starting XI role with Miroslav Klose and Luca Toni is almost a mission impossible, but Podolski has warned he will consider his future if he does not secure a regular start.
"I will tackle this subject after the European Championships," Podolski told Bild.
"I will have enough time on holiday to think about my situation and I will make a decision on my future then.
"I have made it clear to him (Klinsmann) that I am unhappy with my situation in Munich.
"He knows what he has in me. He has even said that he understands my problems.
"We shall sit down together after the Euro and see what happens."
