很多舊冰箱的製冷劑如ammonia, Freon and methane，這些化學物料如果漏出會對環境會有很大傷害。
最好方法處理都係這些舊冰箱recycle廢物回收

舊凍櫃算是廢物利用了、環保了, 魚池水也有了去處,
但這樣的養殖的方式假如只在冬天部份時間進行還好,
觀賞意慾可能大大減低了; 違背了養殖的原意.
