如此美麗的河流自然吸引了大量遊客的眼球，但遊客需要注意的是五色河的奇觀並非一年四季都可以看見，因為旱季時，水量不足，水中的養分不足以維持藻類大面積繁殖；雨季時，水勢又太過兇猛，會將河床上的藻類沖刷掉。所以，只有在旱季雨季交替的6月到9月間，彩虹河才會呈現繽紛的色彩。而且，要到達這條河流的所在地也不是那麼容易，因為當地交通不便，連公路都沒有，所以你必須騎馬加步行再挑選合適的時間才能一睹這條神奇河流的芳容。

Because of the rain and mountain oxygenates, water and rocky bottom do not contain any mud,so there are practically no other underwater vegetation.the water is so clean that the bottom can be seen ,fish doesn’t live here just because of that unique characteristics of the channel
