Liverpool brought the New Year in with a bang as they hit four past Norwich City at Anfield.  

The Canaries' wings were well and truly clipped courtesy of goals from John Scales, Robbie Fowler (2) and Ian Rush.   

It extended Roy Evans' men's winning streak to four matches and edged them ever closer to the top of the table.
