“我们希望结束这项我们已经开始的工作。我们有9分,但是我们知道这还不足以晋级。”
我们将会为此努力,我们在欧冠有丰富的经验,我们知道所有球队都会尽到自己极限能力。”
“如果我们仅仅认为明天我们会晋级,认为‘当然,我们已经轻松地赢了第一场和他们的比赛’,那么我们将会在明晚有一个让人吃惊的糟糕结果。”作者: jacksonkua 時間: 2007-11-7 06:24 PM 標題: Wenger plays down Rosicky fears
Wenger plays down Rosicky fears - 7 Nov 2007
Arsene Wenger has played down the severity of the groin injury that has prevented Tomas Rosicky from travelling to his homeland for Arsenal’s Champions League tie with Slavia Prague on Wednesday.
Rosicky has been left in North London – along with Kolo Toure, Cesc Fabregas and Alexander Hleb – for the game that could seal Arsenal’s progression to the knockout stages.

The Czech Republic international has struggled with injuries this term and only recently returned from a hamstring problem, but Wenger is not worried that the latest niggle is a long-term issue.
"We feel he will be fit for Monday [against Reading]. He had a scan today and it came back clear," said Wenger. "It is a minor, minor, minor problem, we hope so.
“He is a very conscientious professional and you cannot fault him on his attitude. We think what is happening with him is never big problems, they are small ones."
Wenger has opted to shuffle his pack for the game in the Czech capital and the most noteable absentees will be Fabregas and Hleb who have both been rested after playing a key part in the club’s success this season.
The door is open for players such as Alex Song and Theo Walcott to start in Prague, with only a draw needed to ensure the club’s progression, and Wenger had no qualms in allowing his Spanish starlet to take a well earned rest.
"Cesc has nearly played every single minute since the start of the season," said Wenger. "If you get him injured, it's three or four games out. If you can give him a breather at some stage it is not too bad.
"We have a big enough squad to give the players a rest when it is needed, and so can cope without a winter break.”
Despite his decision to rest his two star men in the wake of the 7-0 win over the same opposition in Arsenal’s last European outing, Wenger insists The Gunners are not complacent about the qualification which must still be guaranteed.
"We want to finish the job we have started. We have nine points, but we know that it is not enough to qualify.
"We will be up for it and we have enough experience in the Champions League to know all the teams push to the limit.
"If we just think tomorrow we turn up and think 'well, we won the first game easily' then we will have a bad surprise tomorrow night."作者: jacksonkua 時間: 2007-11-7 06:28 PM
