or 唱錢 - not sure if that came from the English word "change", I think there might be an actual Chinese character for "唱", just like how the actual character for "啲" should be written as "尐" since 啲 is a made-up character, 印印腳 should really be 䟴䟴腳 etc
There are a lot of Cantonese words that are derived from old Chinese before 白話文 from the North became dominant in the written Chinese language, gradually phasing out the "old" words that are still spoken by Cantonese people today, but the written form is lost作者: sakura35 時間: 2011-1-29 04:47 AM

其他嘅我冇意見,但PK同老笠一定係廣東話,仆喺條街好直接形容人衰到貼地,
老笠係講攔途截劫單身人仕!用布袋笠住個頭嚟搶人地身上財物,江湖中人都中意加個[老]字喺前面,
例如:老(鳯)奉,老爆,老點之類....唔駛拗!作者: panyanouvath 時間: 2011-2-23 07:30 AM
funny ,thanks a lot.作者: 飛鷹_ 時間: 2011-2-26 07:31 PM
老笠同仆 street 唔係英文.
痾blood 唔係廣東話, 痾blood係周潤發套劇入面講既. 以前冇人咁講.作者: MiSuKi 時間: 2011-2-28 12:53 AM

These are examples of bad English. I would not recommend using them if you live in other countries because you'll be seen as uneducated. Why not simply learn it the proper way correctly?作者: okokok1229 時間: 2011-3-5 04:49 AM

I lived in Sydney Australia for over 25 years, and I have never hear Aussie refer lunch as Yum Cha, when they say Yum Cha, they refer exactly that, Yum Cha.
If they are going to a foodcourt to have lunch, or a steak house to have lunch, I have never hear Aussie refer it as Yum Cha.作者: mrfusion 時間: 2011-7-16 10:04 PM

Chingish refer to Chinese way to write English. It is meant to be English.
These are Chinese words orginated from English, these is already Chinese.
Maybe called it Englinese.作者: chelsia112 時間: 2011-7-18 03:17 PM
